"We Care" Adult Basic Learning Course

 

In a lot of our communities, adults are not afforded the opportunity to continue their education, learn how to use and benefit from modern-day technology, or conduct proper business tactics. However, Rightouch Family Development’s We Care Adult Basic Learning Course is designed to educate adults on such topics to ensure that they are able to develop the skills needed to continue to develop in an ever-changing world. Our target audience includes adults’ ages 30+ who desire to enhance their education, technology, and business skills. We take our time to go through our educational modules to ensure everyone reaches their optimal potential.

 

 

Course Duration: 4 Months

 

Objectives are as follows but not limited to:

  • Educate adults on the importance of utilizing the computer in education.

  • Educate adults on the usage of technology in the corporate world.

  • Teach basic typing skills through various activities.

  • Teach the basics of using software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Teach the importance of resume building through platforms such LinkedIn and Indeed for employment.

  • How to properly fill out an online application.

  • Security and the Internet- How to securely utilize the internet.
